Ability to change default save path of snapshots

I am really enjoying the relatively new snapshot feature, but I don't want them saved on my desktop, rather in my Pictures/Screenshots folder.
After digging through the settings, I could not find a way to change the default path the snapshots are saved to.The little step of selecting my pictures folder manually every time can get quite annoying, so I would suggest to keep the directory, the last snapshot was saved to (Just like with downloads)
If I'm mistaking and there is a way to change the path, please correct me
