Random blank pages disrupt my workflow

I've recently started to notice a very frustrating issue in Opera. I've tried recovering to the original browser, re-installing the app, getting rid of extensions, and restarting my computer. Nothing has worked so far, and I haven't found any recent forums with a similar issue (or a proper solution). This happens even in incognito mode.

There is no specific pattern. Sometimes, when I visit a website, all I get is a blank page. Sometimes this happens right in the middle of a YouTube video. There are times when Opera works just fine, and other times when it keeps doing this to the point where I can't visit any website without being met with a blank page. Refreshing the page doesn't help.

I tried opening the same pages in Chrome and everything worked perfectly. I've never had this issue before, so I'm not sure what to do. I sent the support team a few bug updates but there haven't been any improvements yet.

I have a MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2.53GHz, Mid 2009) El Capitan. I have a lot of space on it, and I rarely have a lot of tabs open. Right now, the only extension I have is an ad blocker. (Turning it off hasn't helped either.)

Does anyone know what the problem is? I'd appreciate your help.
