Is there a way to fix this? When scrolling, I'm getting obscene amounts of screen tearing, to the point where I'm literally getting a headache just from browsing the internet. The only thing that changed recently was that I upgraded my graphics drivers, due to there being an actual security problem with the old drivers that I was using.

@sarraf I would guess there's something wrong with the new drivers unfortunately. Might help to list your version of Opera, whether it's 64-bit or not, what OS and version (and if Windows 10 if it's 1909 for example), what GPU and driver etc.

For a workaround, goto the URL opera://settings/system, disable hardware acceleration and restart to see if that helps.

I'm running Windows 8.1, with the 441.20 NVidia drivers. Opera version is 65.0.3467.48 with automatic updates enabled.

Curious. I went in, and Hardware Acceleration was disabled. I enabled it, and I'm still getting tearing when scrolling, but it is greatly reduced, at least to the point where I can scroll down a page without getting a headache. 😃
