Opera Resets After System Failure

After two successive system failures, whether caused by power outage or browser crash, without a successful Opera restart between those system crashes Opera resets the browsing session. This is annoying and bad UX.
Ordinarily, when the browser is closed intentionally then reopened the session restarts from where a user left off.
After two successive crashes Opera restarts a fresh/clean session without option to restore the previous browsing session. I understand Opera devs think this is a good way to allow the browser to restart after an Opera process might have caused the browser to crash but from a user viewpoint this causes unnecessary loss of open tabs and active sessions.
Chrome offers to restore a browsing session after a system crash. When will the Opera devs add a restore feature to Opera?
Telling us to check restore tabs from browser history is not an answer. Opera sometimes wipes the history too and tabs frozen via an Opera addon are not always retained in browser history after history has been wiped manually.

Hi,
Do you have or need Workarounds?!

"Off topic Tip"
Follow the Signature's BackUp | Reset link.
Take the opportunity to start a Backup plan, even create a Template Profile.

A temporary workaround until Opera resolves this would be useful. Do you know of any?

For Session/Tabs, @burnout426 suggests SessionBuddy Extension.
For a whole Backup, look at the above message Tip and at your OS Backup options.
Keep a weekly backup or even more if you currently have an issue situation on computer/energy.

Session managers are no help. I clear the history regularly of everything for security purposes. I wipe my session manager at the same time.
Computer backup options would not help in this instance. See above for the reason.
The issue is that Opera wipes the browser session. Backup options would only work if I didn't clear the browser history every time I close the browser. Open tabs are not wiped when browser history is cleared -- they are restored when the browser is reopened unless Opera crashes twice in succession in which case the suspended open tabs are wiped automatically by Opera.
Thanks for your suggestions but they won't work for my use case.
