Touchpad 2-gesture scrolling is slow!

I have been currently testing out Opera for about 2-3 weeks. My previous browser I used was chrome.

During the past few weeks I found to have love opera for the many features it provides and overall aesthetics. However, I do despise the scrolling speed while using the 2 finger gesture to scroll on a touchpad. On chrome it was quick and responsive, however on opera is very slow and unresponsive. Scrolling with a touchpad on opera takes forever since a single swipe barely moves the scroll.
