Search Bar Yields Blank Pages

I've encountered a problem recently with searches performed from the navigation bar yielding blank pages. My search engine is google and the results are actually present on the page, but everything is white. Hovering the mouse over where the results would be shows invisible and clickable links. It is sometimes possible to highlight the text and show that the results are there. Sometimes after 3 or 4 refreshes of the same page it will load normally. Going directly to a google search page yields regular results albeit in what looks like antiquated, plainer formatting. Windows 10.

That's weird that searching from the address field and pressing enter would give you a different result/page that going to google.com, typing in the search field on the page and pressing enter. Both should take you to the same search result page.
Any extensions installed in Opera. Do you have Opera's adblocker on? Using the dark theme?
