Opera sync /password issue

I'm unable to access Opera sync on my mobile. Despite changing password I get a message about server failure. Still I receive a e-mail notification about login. Access on webpage works fine..

You can deactivate this here: Turn off "Notification preferences > Notify me whenever a new sign-in to my account occurs".

@yanta please read my question.
your suggestion doesn't solve the issue and give access to my account.
I still receive both contradicting notifications, where Opera mobile tells I'm not logged in while sending an email notice that I'm logged in... -

@cypernisse Can you please visit http://www.sync.opera.com or http://www.auth.opera.com using opera for android and check the status if you are logged in. Also please confirm that when you go to Main menu -> settings -> sign in, you are not logged in?
Here is my suggestion:
- Visit above mentioned site (http://www.sync.opera.com or http://www.auth.opera.com)
- Clear site data by clicking on top left icon in address bar -> site setting -> clear data
- Go to main menu -> settings -> sign in
- Sign in to sync
