Strange behavior if previous download folder is inaccessible

Sorry for poor englisj, just learning.
If the last file downloaded to a folder which is inaccessible in the time of the next download, Opera acts strange. The downloads completes in the background into some temp location but opera wasn't save, nor asking the new location, just wait for a couple (1-10mins) before. If the missing folder is came up in this time, then opera asks the download location instantly. (For example, i using VPN to access my home network and saving all P2P contnt into my home NAS not to coporate)
Everyone else found this bug?
(Not Opera version dependent, i saw this firs about a half year ago)
