Lost "saved" or "last" pages after other update

I have three computers, one Win XP, and two Win 10. On the XP and one of the Win 10 computers after updating other programs that required it either by AVG Updater or Windows, the Opera lost the pages I had up during the previous use of the browser. My settings for both computers were set to ON STARTUP -> Retain tabs from previous session. After rebooting both computers after installing the updates, the Opera browsers opened up to START pages. I haven't deleted any Windows Restore Points on either of the computers. Is there any way to recover the lost Tabs and pages? Using the WRPs? Or are they gone for good?

This happens to some users after updates, but not sure why. More details on everything that was updated might help. Major updates of Windows 10 sometimes cause this for some reason.
Are/were you using Opera Sync in Opera on all of those computers? If so, if they disappeared on one computer, syncing could have wiped them out on the others.

Not sure if a restore point would help. Maybe if it happens to restore some of Opera's profile files and you are no longer logged into Opera Sync, it might work. Otherwise, I would think it wouldn't help.
Or are they gone for good?
In Opera's profile folder are two files: Current Session and Last Session. If you haven't started one of the Opera's yet or if you have and haven't closed Opera yet, you can try copying the Last Session file to a safe place. Then, you can look at it with a text editor to see if the URLs for your opened tabs are in there somewhere. Then, after closing Opera (or before you start it if you haven't started it yet after this happened in another Opera), you can make a copy of the Last Session file and name it "Current Session" and replace the existing Current Session file with that copy. then, you might get them back if you're not logged into Opera Sync. But, that's just a theory and doesn't seem to work in practice so far (according to others that have tried).
