Pairing Devices Is Not Allowed Here: MacOS and iOS

This is both the problem and the resolution.
I have recently begun creating ERC721 tokens and selling them through online services. I needed a browser that worked well with my crypto wallets. MacOS is pretty good but iOS doesn't play well with MetaMask, unless you're using the beta. And even then it doesn't always allow you to confirm or sign transactions. This led me to Opera Touch with the built in dAPP browser. I installed a copy on my iPad Pro and a copy on my iPhone XS Max. Once I rebuilt my hard drive and had my Macbook Pro back in operation, I downloaded the browser to my mac. When I tried to connect the wallets however, is when I received the message that "pairing devices is not allowed here."
I tried everything I could think of. I connected the browsers through Flow, I made sure all the devices were on the same network. I threatened to use the mac as a boat anchor... nothing worked. Ok, I didn't really threaten my macbook. I'm crazy but I'm not nuts! Macs are expensive!
Anyway... imagine my surprise when I created an Opera account so I could write this issue up in this here forum thingy and VIOLA! just like that, I was able to connect the crypto wallet to my iPhone!
So, if you're having the same problem, create an Opera account and log in. THEN try to connect the device.
