Standard Windows menu

I'm using Opera 12 on Win XP Pro, and no, don't say it. It's my secondary, not main, browser.
I'm trying to re-create a profile from a dead computer. In the top toolbar I had the standard Win menu bar: File, Edit, View, History, Bookmarks, Tools, Help
I've searched the Appearance box, but I don't know where I had found it originally. Was it an extension?

Hi, I'm not sure what exactly do you mean. Try Opera Menu > Show Menu Bar . At least it's working in latest version (12.17 b1863).

On the tab bar, there should be a red, rectangular "Opera" button (with the lower half of a white "O" in the background). Click that to bring up its menu, and click on "Show Menu Bar". The menu bar should suddenly appear in its usual place, and the red Opera button should disappear.

Great!! I also had colored icons on the navigation bar, easier for my older eyes to see. Do you think those were part of a theme?

Yep, It most definitely was a 'Skin', as the standard/default buttons in 12.x were monochrome grey/black.
