When I click on the heart icon, Opera just crashes. I've already tried going to %AppData%\Opera Software and deleting the Opera Stable folder, so I'm doing it on a brand new fresh profile yet it still crashes. I'm at a loss for what else I can do. Is there a log somewhere that I can check so I can get an idea what might be the cause of this?

I've also tried defragmenting my hard drive already as well.

I tried out the GX version and it seems, the issue is not present there

For Opera Stable, what build number do you have (see opera://about)? There was bookmark crash fix in one of the 63 builds and some other supposedly-non-related crash fixes. https://blogs.opera.com/desktop/changelog-for-63/

I'd uninstall and reinstall to fix any program file corruption just to make sure and to make sure you have the newest build.

Using Opera Sync to sync your bookmarks?

@burnout426 I just ended up migrating to Opera GX altogether. It didn't have the problem plus it's got a nice resource limiter that the default Opera didn't
