You're not alone, i have the same problem. Highly annoying as i've loved using Opera for eons. But will have to look for another browser, as there seems to be no solution currently.

Today my back/forward and reload buttons disappeared for no reason. They were always located upper left next to address bar. I've checked settings and am up-to-date. I can't navigate properly. Help!!

@wobblyjobby Same here. I don't get why they would ever change this. I hit those buttons 200 times a day. Arrgh. Time to migrate to Brave?

Thanks Neil.
I wasn't using Dark Mode. However i turned it on, and the navigation buttons appeared. Then when i turned if off they stayed there. However if i open a new window, i have to repeat the process.
I hope Opera fix this bug soon.

I just got an upgrade note, and upgraded to "Your version is 63.0.3368.94", and Navigation buttons are there! Hopefully this resolves issue.

I got my navigation buttons to return by showing then hiding again the bookmarks bar. I have no clue why this would work, but there you go.

@whogoo It worked! Thanks for the tip. I switched to Brave because of this frustrating nonsense but I still use Opera for a few specific sites. This makes it better again. Cheers.
