@wildwolf: DuckDuckGo knows which sites have https options available and directs you to that option. By doing so the details of the website address beyond the domain part is hidden from your ISP.

Buscador eficiente que protege tu privacidad y no te localiza y envía informes anónimos de búsquedas como hacen otros... (Goog**)

@manuel20xx: Flash support is being discontinued at the end of this year. If you use it, it should have already sent a message asking whether you want to turn it off. I recommend turning Flash off completely, especially since Adobe will no longer support it and there will be no further updates for it. Ever.

@manuel20xx: Dont use flash! Duckduckgo cannot control flash directly as thats quite difficult.

This is as advertised but it's essentially just a glorified search bar, not the privacy protection tool that they advertise on their site. That is only easily available on Chrome and Firefox. If you want the full features of their normal extension -- tracker blocking, site ratings, quick access to DuckDuckGo, etc -- then you'll need to grab the "Install Chrome Extensions" extension and visit the Chrome web store. The Chrome version works flawlessly when installed this way.

@akita121 The problem is that TOR isn't suited for everyday use. It's good for protecting sensitive info (online banking, for example) but due to its very design, it's certainly not the best for daily use. Even VPNs have a similar issue, albeit to a lesser extent.
