Valspar Paints, Virtual Painter, not allowing, allowed pop-ups

    On the Valspar paints website, they have way to look at different colour on the wall of a picture. When I try to save, there is normally a pop-up window that shows up for me to name the saved image. That is how it works in Chrome. Even the button to change to a different background will not work, because first I must save. I want to save my work. Chrome bogs down my computer when I use this website or most if I am at all multi-tasking.

    The default website address is www.valsparpaint.ca. The entire page web address; https://www.valsparpaint.ca/en/explore-colours/painter/virtual-painter.html
    Is is possible for me to manually enter this address? Is is because it ends in .html?

    Any advice?

  • I tested in Chrome, Opera, Firefox, Edge and Internet Explorer by going to https://www.valsparpaint.ca/en/explore-colours/painter/interior.html and clicking a pic. I chose a different background, sent it to the painter and then clicked the "save" button. I get a Javascript error about a modal function not being defined. Same with "Save to my projects".

    So, something is messed up with the site. I don't know what's up, but the modal function they're using might use an Internet-explorer-only function. However, I couldn't even get things to work in Internet Explorer.

    So, I'm not sure what's up.

  • TY. It works fine on Chrome. It just eats up disk space, so nothing else can be open. Hard to do that when I am working on a project using multi apps to complete.
    I will just have to find a match on Benjamin Moore. They have much more colours to work, but matching is never perfect. Screw perfect. Life would be much easier if that were true.
