Opera 12.16: favicons not showing in search context menu

Using Opera 12.16, I had a problem with some of my appdata hierarchy on Win7. I was able to restore the hierarchy from a recent backup, but since then most of the favicons do not show up in the context/search with... menu. Some of the bookmarks bar icons don't show up either, which is very strange because other bookmarks from the same site (ebay) do show up there.
Is there any way to get the icons back into the context menu and bookmark bar? Thanks.
