jimbop last edited byI was just wondering, this since I just checked and have the latest version (v1.14). How come there is no update of this version since 2018 ? I mean 4 years without an update ? All this while google-youtube have done their best to avoid ppl from downloading clips from YT.

Updates are carried out continuously on the backend. Basically this addon is updated on the backend without changing and adding versions of this addon.

You mean the updates are done in the background without the user being aware of ? Good by me.

@jimbop: I'm not sure the analogy is right or wrong, but the update is done without changing or adding any code on the user side, but on the downloader page and converter API.

As some random dude on the internet, I feel like I should leave a short review based on some of the comments I've seen here.
This extension works great. It does exactly what it promised, it converts YouTube videos into MP3(or even MP4) format so you can add to whatever music player you like. As recommended by the developer, I have Ad Block on so I'm not bombarded by ads like some people complain. Downloads are quick enough and work fine. I've also got my antivirus software running scans and everything comes down clean. Honestly, this works perfectly fine and I am grateful to the dev for making this a one-click extension. To everyone complaining: You are getting free songs that you would normally have to pay for, so maybe choose your battles better.

@jagerss: You guys are a bunch of spammer accounts from this addon rival. Be mature and upgrade your addon so that it actually works as expected by users. Don't waste your time giving bad ratings and bad reviews. it's useless, as long as this addon works great as expected.

the application is super good but I would like us to be able to install playlists if that may be possible in the future of your project that would be super cool, all the people who say that it is a so-called virus whereas it is not a virus indeed I confirm one of the comments of @download-lagu-mp3 there is an ad that if launched in the meantime and you simply have to remove this page to then be able to download the video or the music (mp3) otherwise the application is really cool it is simple easy to understand thank you again for your help !
