Amazon for Opera

The only reason I installed Opera is because of it's performance over Google Chrome way back then. There's plenty of good browsers that does the job nowadays. Sh*t like this make me want to look elsewhere

@nweinfeld the problem is:
I don't want it
I didn't install it
I didn't ask for it be installed
I didn't miss unchecking a box that would have prevented it from being installed
Instead, Opera installed it without my permission via an automatic update.
There is no option to uninstall it, not in extensions nor in add/remove programs
Now, I have to find the program on the internet, download and install it then uninstall it.
I should not have to do that. -

Love to see Opera being bundled with spyware. Good lord. Opera has been my browser of choice for years, but I guess I'll have to look elsewhere.

I guess taking $$$ from evil globalist companies is Opera's new jam. Impressive.

The extension installed automatically which is an absolute trash. Please delete this extension and ban the authors.

This is 100% spam. Just like most of the positive comments in this thread. Incredible that Opera does not do anything about this.

@shiger: Go to %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\Opera Software\Opera Stable\Extensions and delete folder kbmoiomgmchbpihhdpabemajcbjpcijk .
Then create a file named kbmoiomgmchbpihhdpabemajcbjpcijk and change its attributes: read-only and system, after that the extension will not be able to install itself -

As an alternative, I've been having pretty good luck with Librewolf which has much better security and none of this invasive crap, but do have to come back to Opera from time to time to allow big tech in for a bit to a few websites to function.
