Opera is very slow after updating to 62.0.3331.18.

I have checked CPU time for the root Opera process. After running about 68 hours root Opera process has used about 22:42:00 CPU time. So, Opera is using about 33% of 1 CPU and this is enormous.

No extensions have been added recently.

Updating to 62.0.3331.43 didn't resolve the issue.

Just for remark youtube.com loads about 15 seconds eating 20 seconds CPU.

This should be something related to cookies or extensions as there are no problems in private mode.

It was Ghostery extenstion which autoupdated recently.
