      Hi,

I have some mails that are not stored in any 'detail' label, they can be seen in 'All messages' 'unread messages' and "received" main 'labels' but nowhere else (which is normal).

I have migrated from operamail exporting posts 'detail' label by label (not all, unread and received main ones) and all is ok, except that the mails not attached to any 'detailed label' are not processed.

How can I find those and attach them to a new label so as to export them ?

      Thanks

For each label, go into its properties and set "hide these messages from other views". Then, in "All Messages/Received" for example, click the "settings for this view" button on the message list toolbar and uncheck "show hidden". Then, the list will only show non-labeled messages. You can then create more labels and drag messages to them. They'll disappear from "Received" after dragging to a label if the label has "Hide these messages from other views" set. Then, you can export each new label. Just make sure "show hidden" is set for those labels' message lists.

I have already checked "hide these mesages". But thanks for 'show hidden' (always asked myself what it meant !).
