we'd like to inform you that a new version of Opera Mini for Android is out. The new version is fully released on Google Play.

Here's what new:

media links badge in the address bar for easier media files downloading
search improvements
various performance and stability fixes

F*** Opera Mini.
I've been reporting that there has a bug. Too much Longer Startup problem since Opera Mini 40 & version 43 passing by and this crappy problem still exists. WTF is going on??

Is there has anyone to fix the longer startup problem ????
If Opera Mini has many speed dials (like more than 25 or so) then Opera Mini takes hell lot of times to start & sometimes it shows a dialogue "Opera Mini isn't responding. Would you like to 'Wait' or 'Close' ???
Ah, what a miserable problem. And I'm still facing it. But no fix at all.

I prefer the facebook display on version 23 than the current version during in extreme mode.
Pls considered this on next version.

@jackob11 Hi, sorry for the long wait for a response. We clearly see that the freezes are a serious issue. We did some investigating around this and a fix should appear in the nearest beta version of Mini (somewhere next week).

Slow loading at startup is fixed in latest beta. Thanks for that.
But still facing slow loading problem at web video streaming in Extreme mode. If I play any video from any website then Opera Mini's default media player comes up & loading & loading forever. After some minutes it comes but if I rewind the video forward or backward then again the loading..loading..& loading. Fix this please.
And I've a feature request to add VPN mode in Opera Mini. Thanks

Many sites don't work properly in opera mini even with data savings disabled (off) e.g https://github.com tapping on the menu icon on the top right does nothing, i can't even access my opera account from the settings: a spinner shows for a while then a blank page is all i get.

Opera mini does not remember that i already chose it as the default browser, the default browser popup show up frequently and is annoying.
