Pop-ups have become pop-unders

I am running Opera version 60.0.3255.95. In the last few day, my pop-up windows have become pop-unders. For example, if I am on SKOUT and I open up a chat window, it opens up behind my browser, an I have to go look for it. does anyone know of a fix for this. As I said, it's only been happening for a few days, but it has already become an aggravation.

Download the Opera installer, launch it, click "options", set "install path" to a folder on you desktop, set "install for" to "standalone installation", uncheck "import data from default browser" and install. Test in that Opera. Do not enable Opera sync and do not install any extensions.
If it works fine there, then it's just something wrong with your normal Opera profile.
