[Solved]Opera freezes on launch, Mac

I'm trying out Opera 60.0.3255.95 on macOS Mojave. I have two computers. I enabled syncing via an Opera account and now on my first computer I set it up on, Opera freezes upon launch with a macOS beachball. I am unable to get to preferences or anything to try switching off syncing. Opera is unusable.
Any suggestions? Thanks -

@zalex108 Thank you for the reply and the edits to your post. I had to find the path to my user data and could not find it before. I deleted the
~/Library/Application Support/com.operasoftware.Operafolder and everything seems to be working properly after re-syncing. Thank you. -
