Opera 18 & 19 Wont Connect to Internet - help!

i installed Opera 18 & 19 on my laptop with XP Pro SP3.. but it wont connect to the net. many ppl have complained about this. is there any way to fix this? why is this happening???

Make sure that firewall isn't blocking them.

Removed the extra !-marks and caps from the title. No shouting please.
