Speed dial extensions no longer supported!

Hi, can we get an answer why are extensions in speed dial in Opera 60+ no longer supported?
It is one of the few reasons why I chose Opera over Firefox.

Opera is based on Chromium and Chromium doesn't really support the behavior. Opera has to hack the source to make it work. With Chromium 73, they changed so much stuff in that area that it broke speed dial extensions and it became too much work for Opera to make them work.
