[Solved]Opera 60.0.3255.59.exe won't install

Today I tried starting Opera (version 58..0.3135.127), but it just would not open. I have experienced this behaviour before when a new update occurred which prevented operation. My solution then was to uninstall and re-install the newer version. I tried that today with version 60.0.3255.59, both the Installer.exe and the full installation version, but the installation keeps failing. It gets down to about 1 second remaining, hangs for a bit, then gives me the error message that installation has failed.
I turned off my Webroot firewall and my VPN programs, but that made no difference. There is nothing else new on my PC that should interfere with this.

Problem fixed, and forgot this detail. Although Opera will install the linked files on my D:\ directory, it does not like (will not) install directly on the
drive. I have to install it on C:\ drive for it to work. Some programs are fussy that way.
