Hello all
Since version 57, the update of Opera (x32 and x64, same issue) is no longer correctly and I must restart for it to work!
Symptoms:
I click on the shortcut (launcher) and a white screen appears in the opera window (no menu, nothing ...) just the window frame.
Impossible to kill Opera.exe and Opera_autoupdate.exe on the task manager and I need to restart.
After the restart, Opera works well (with the request for internet access from my Avast firewall, normal, but very stupid because Opera.exe changes of folder with each update, unlike other browsers).
I never had this error of update before version 57 !!
I tested the x32 and x64 version, it's the same issue !
Maybe it's in my Avast? But I prefer to change My Browser than My paid antivirus (no problem with us).
I never have this problem with Firefox (YES, I have two browsers, even three if I count the useless Edge of my Windows 10 Pro v1809).
Have you ever encountered this problem?
Thank you
Jean-ClaudePS: Sorry for my por english

I have essentially the same issue. If I quit Opera and later try to open Opera, it will not! I must go to task manager, where 8 lines of the program are still running, so as large as 115k. When I close the largest fine, the program will restart. Aggravating.
