I am not able to use extreme mode in opera mini

If I try to search anything using the address bar or visit any site, I would be greeted with the message saying "unable to connect, review your network settings". What's weird is that, I have two speed dials on my opera mini app and if I open it, it would load with out any problem. The same issue is found when the data saver is set to high.
My internet is fine and I am able to use other browsers and opera mini when data saver is turned off completely.
