Opera R3... not R3?

I'm really interested in the new Opera R3 design and features. I downloaded the "developer version" to try out the new R3 like the blog post suggested (downloaded for Mac) but the browser isn't R3...? The UI is the same as its always been, and none of the new features are there.. but the version in "About Opera" is the same as the supposed R3 version.... Anybody know why? Are the new changes only released for Windows right now? Any Opera developers want to chime in?
