Every time Opera is opened, it becomes unresponsive after around 2 seconds. Waiting does nothing and it has to be closed. I'm using Windows 8.1. I've tried renaming the directory, a fresh profile does nothing to solve this. Private mode also displays the exact same behavior. I've deleted all the extensions I had manually, the crashing still persists. I've tried installing Opera again, the fresh version becomes unresponsive in the exact same manner.

Strangely when i try to install a new version of Opera, the installer works just fine, and then it stops just before it is finished and the progress bar never fills completely, however the opera icon shows up on my task bar and seems to open (It still crashes) the same thing happened when i tried to uninstall Opera.

The portable version of Opera does the exact same thing.

If nobody can tell what it is that is causing this to happen (which is likely), i would appreciate any tips on how to export Opera bookmarks to other browsers, and how one would go about getting the links to all the tabs that are open on the current session, as i have quite a few tabs open of links i would like to save but cannot access due to Opera's unresponsiveness.

Thanks in advanced to anyone who can offer help
