Can't log out of Opera on the desktop

I can't synchronize Opera Mini on my android with Opera on my desktop, because I keep getting the error wrong user name or password.
I tried Forgot Password, but I am required to user name and email. It says wrong user name.
I am using the correct user name, which I had saved on Evernote, so I know it is correct.
I finally decided to close the account, but couldn't do that either, for the reason that I can't log in.
What am I doing wrong?
I want to be able to sign on with a different email address, but I've tried two usernames and it says This username is already taken. If both my given name and surname are already taken, what do you suggest?
Why can't I sign on, using just my email, as with most other sites?

Just open your operamini settings and click on opera link put your loging detail and sign in wait till it finish loading.

Are you using the username "cossyrosario" and inserting the same password you used to login to this forum?
