How to import Opera bookmarks with thumbnails?

Im trying to import bookmarks file from my last Opera to a clean and recently installed, bookmarks import correctly but they dont have the thumbnails I had before import. This opera forum post says the thumbnails are stored in BookmarksExtras file so I tried to replace with the old file from my last Opera but thumbnails still not showing (Also tried with favicons file). Do you guys have any suggestion?

Are you using Opera Sync at all? If so, messing with the bookmark files manually might cause you to lose your bookmarks. So, make sure you have them all backed up just in case.

I don't know if it'll work, but I'd replace both Bookmarks and BookmarksExtra with the old files instead of just replacing BookmarksExtra and importing a bookmarks HTML file.
