Can't reach sites when VPN turned on.

When the VPN is off, I can easily access the sites. But as soon as it is trned on I am unable to load even small sites like google or facebook. The VPN shows connected. Though the data graph is only showing 0B of data.
I've resetted everything yet nothing works. I'm using K7 anti-virus. It is turned off while I use the VPN.
