Problem after poking in opera:flags

  • After trying to enable some hardware acceleration on opera:flags and rebooting, Opera boots but all tabs hangs, even opera:flags itself, so I can't reset them.

    Where is the flags configuration stored so I can set them to default state? Is there a safe mode boot option? (no flags, no extensions).

  • The closest thing to a safe start is, I guess, erasing all files in the profile and having Opera to re-create it.

    If you are really sure the problem is in flags and don't want to lose all other settings, you can edit the file Local State. Close Opera, open the file in any editor, and remove all flags from the node browser -> enabled_labs_experiments:

    "enabled_labs_experiments": [ ]

  • Awesome! That did it. Editing the Local State file, I mean. Thanks!
