Playback Problems

For the last hour, I have been attempting to watch some videos on Youtube to no avail. The video player time counter (or whatever the proper term is) would always stay at 0:00. The actual video would play for 1-4 seconds at abyssmal quality, then stop and have a loading icon, or would just flat out have a loading icon from the start. I updated Opera to the latest version, 57.0.3098.91 as I am writing this, and still no luck. I ended up submitting a help form to Google, assuming it was a problem on their end. Then I tried Twitch, where the player just freezes. Maybe one frame every 10-20 seconds, but that is it. Frankly, I'm not smart enough to fix this. If anyone knows anything about this or something similar, it would be much appreciated.

To be fair, this is the first error I've had with Opera within nearly a year of use, so I might not have explored all the options. And yes, I restarted my router.
