Maximized tab/window dragged to a bigger screen becomes non-maximized

I use 2 screens. I often open a tab (usually a video or stream), drag it off onto the secondary screen and use the secondary screen as a "TV" while I go on browsing on the main screen. The 2nd screen is a bigger one and has higher resolution. But it used to work properly in the past. Tabs would detach and become a maximized window regardless if I drag them from small screen to big or vice versa.. Now they become a smaller window when I drag them to a bigger screen. The opposite works fine.
I expected this to be fixed in subsequent updates, but it never was. Is there are 'fit to screen' option hidden somewhere in the config file? Thank you.

Opera is up to date
Update stream:Stable
System:Windows 10 64-bit (I experienced same problems under Win7 x64)
