Back Button Changed?

Hello, I've been meaning to address this issue for a month now but wasn't sure if was a bug or something from the settings.
For some reason, the last few updates have really messed up with the back button. It pretty much acts like you opened a new tab when clicking on simple things like choosing the next Youtube video in the same tab. Does anybody else have this issue?
