    Is there any easy way to reset the MailBox Database?

    OMail has started to frozen because a Password problem on all Gmail accounts and I cannot access it, CPU at 25%.

    I would like to keep my Program settings, buttons, etc.

  • The password problem is fixed but the frozen up behavior still remains on the main Gmail Account.

  • You can only reset the search database.

    But, you can do a database check which scans for and repairs simple errors.

    Other than that, it's export your feeds lists if Opera will let you, close down Opera, rename the mail folder, delete wand.dat and opcert6.dat, and move contacts.adr to a safe place, Then, start up Opera, create all your accounts again (do not import any accounts), import your feeds list (and readjust update intervals), import your contacts, use the "Menu -> Settings -> import and export -> import mail -> import generic mbox -> add folder" option to import each store/accountN folder in the old "mail" folder that's for a POP account into the corresponding POP account you manually created. You can look at the email addresses in accounts.ini in the old mail folder to see what number each account is. Then, you delete any duplicates in those POP accounts. Specifically, you delete the imported duplicates and keep the duplicates that are still left on the POP server.

  • Finally I've stopped the very first sync and deleted the GMail account.
    All other accounts are working fine.

    I've made a bckp and I have to delete all the accounts to keep the Opera Mail settings, then another bckp and readd the Accounts.

    Also, because adding GMail again puts GMail not as the default eMail.

    I'll try your suggestions as well.
