Getting "No Internet" when connected to Opera's "VPN". Is Comcast blocking Opera's Proxies?

I'm not sure if this is an issue with Opera's proxy servers, the new version of Opera, or my ISP. All of a sudden, any time I'm connected to Opera's "VPN" (really just a secure-ish proxy server), I get the "No Internet" page whenever I try to load a web page.
I did just recently update to the latest Opera, but I believe the proxy servers were working since. I can't be sure.
All I know is that the VPN connection is good according to Opera It's blue, not orange, says I'm connected, and shows an IP. As soon as I turn it off, I can connect to any web page. All other internet connections function, and the Network Preference Pane shows everything is good. As soon as I turn it off, I can browse.
My ISP is Comcast. If they are blocking VPNs, secure proxies, or any other privacy/security related technology, we need to start a revolt.
Can anyone with Comcast/Xfinity check to see if Opera's security features are being blocked?
