How to I get a Home button in Opera ? (Version:56.0.3051.36)

I can see no recent postings for how to get a Home button in Opera.

I have been using browsers for over 20 years. Few things irritate me more than the way they all like to ruin the basic functionality of the user interface. I just want a home button that I can configure. How hard can this be?

Ideally it should be configurable to be executed with a keyboard shortcut / hotkey. And it should be separate from any other functionality. e.g. The start page is a different concept.

PS Please note that this is a deal-breaker issue for me. Get me a home button or I'm gone forever.

You can add a home button if you want.

If you want to add a shortcut for it, go to the URL opera://settings/keyboardShortcuts, scroll to the bottom and set a shortcut for the extension.
