Opera can't open the magnet link

    I am using Opera Portable and uTorrent Portable version. The thing is that Opera cannot recognize uTorrent Portable. Every time I open a magnet file, it says: "Opera was unable to open the link since no application associated with "magnet" protocol was found on your system."

    In this case, is there any solution?

    You need to associate uTorrent with the magnet protocol in Default Programs/Apps in Windows. I'm not sure if it'll be available as an option for uTorrent Portable though. You might have to install the regular version.

    To test that it's working, open up a command prompt and run this command:

    start "test"  "the magnet link"

    If it opens uTorrent and starts the download etc., it's working fine. Then, it should work in Opera as long as the magnet link is in a web page and you click on it. As it, the links probably won't work if you paste them into the address field.
