Alfred (v3.6.2) Opens Extra Opera Tab When Performing Search

In the past, while performing a search through Alfred while Opera isn't running, Opera would open with the "search" tab (Googled, Amazon, Wikipedia, etc.) as the only tab. Now, Opera opens with the "search" tab as well as a "homepage" tab, with the "homepage" tab being focused on.
This problem does not occur when I perform the same Alfred launch/search through Google Chrome, so I believe it to be an issue with the way Opera handles the requests from Opera.
The problem also does not occur when Opera is closed (no windows) but still running. The extra homepage tab only occurs when Opera is launched along with the search.
AIso, I recognize that this is a minor problem. But, as someone who uses Alfred regulary and also quits applications when I'm not using them, the new behavior inhibits the "flow" of my daily computer use.
I'm on Opera for Mac 54.0.2952.71, 64-bit version.
