Does the 'Flag' post/topic reporting cog link actually work ?, or am I completely wasting my time reporting all these spam posts all the time ?. And it would probably be best for me to just ignore them and leave it to the moderator to remove them when they eventually find them ?.
I really hate spam, and feel it degrades and messes up any forum or public space, but if I am wasting my time reporting them as it doesn't actually work, then please let me know and I will stop.

It does indeed work; every time you flag a post an email is sent to the moderators who have opted to receive such notifications.

Flag link it's on a wrong layer with opera mini so a double click is needed (flag this button missing), that may put under test the extent of my patience.
