No favicons for speed dial/bookmarks?

Recently was looking into making the switch over to Opera on Android, but can't seem to figure out why the icons for the speed dial and bookmarked websites don't use the favicons from the saved site. The default speed dial sites all show the correct icons and look great, but when adding my own sites either on the browser or importing from the desktop browser they all go ugly and look 95% the same.
Is this just how they work on the mobile? If so, this isn't going to work as I use about 40 different sites on my speed dial and with them looking the same it is hard to find what I need.
Tried the latest beta release as well, but it is the same.

Still nothing on this? Latest beta made no changes. A whole screen of icons looking the same really doesn't flow with the rest of this nicely done browser
