animated startpage wallpaper gets resets after restart

I have installed this wallpaper (https://addons.opera.com/en/wallpapers/details/in-the-snow-anime/) from the opera addons, and the button says "installed". However, when I quit Opera and reopen it, either immediately or when I invoke the "Easy Setup" button, the wallpaper gets reset to the static default one, and on the opera addon store the button says "Add to opera". I am wondering if there is a fix to this.

You may need to try on a clean profile:

Opera Help > Crashes and issues.
