Hi,
I'm currently still using google chrome as my default android browser, but I'm wanting to try something different, my biggest concern is being able to import my chrome bookmarks into the opera for android mobile browser, is that possible..and if so, is there an easy way to do so ?
Thanks,
David -

@spark49 said in Importing Chrome Bookmarks:
chrome bookmarks
From https://www.google.com/bookmarks/
you can access and also export them as an html file.I suppose it's the easiest way.

Hi,
Thanks so much for your suggestion, unless I missed it somewhere, while I'm using the android version of opera on my phone, I haven't seen any mention of being able to import bookmarks. Did I just miss that, and if so.. where can I find that option ?
Thanks,

There is no option to Import bookmarks - AFAIK -.
You have to access them through the mentioned link or opening the .html from the browser itself.

Hi zalex108,
Without being able to use my chrome bookmarks, opera really isn't much of interest to me. I'm going to continue to do some research concerning this matter.
Thanks,

Well...
Maybe, an easiest way would be:
- Install and Sync Both Operas, Android and Desktop
- Export the Chrome BKMs HTML
- Import them into Opera Desktop
- Copy the Chrome Bookmarks to Opera Android SpeedDial from the Opera Desktop Bookmarks manager.
Like this.
They will not sync'd with Chrome anymore, but you will have an easy access.

Hi zalex108,
Of course your suggestion would work, the biggest hangup for me would be the fact that I would have to install yet another browser on my windows 10 machine. I think at this point, I'm going to take my time and decide what I want to do. Thanks so much for your time and help.

Ok,
Last chance:You can install it as Portable version, so it will not disturb xDD
Otherwise, now you know how to do it for future explorations.
