I have downloaded and installed Opera_18 after using Opera _12 for a while. My machine is running Win'7 Pro with 23" display.
The new version is better and faster and (I hope) more stable than v. 12.
But I am sorry some features of v. 12 are thrown away:
1. Fit to width: if Speed Dial reconfigures itself automatically, the tvlisting.zap2it.com does not andit eats its sides when
you change the window size.
2. There is no way to set option for some particular web page from the menu. You still may set some features as an exceptions,
but it is time consuming and error prone
3. Panels, including the bookmark panel, gone. Now to get your favorite, you have to open a new page, Speed Dial, first.
4. Instead of ads I am getting gray rectangles with the prompt 'Run Adobe Flash'. Good to suppress online merchants, but some ads are
useful, as on data grid in zap2it. I did not find any option to set the Adobe Flash open automatically for a particular web site only.
5. There is no way to connect to Opera community or the Opera team support from the main menu. The Help menu item does not have a way to submit report on issues.For now, the user interface seems designed for small screens of smart phones, not for a huge screen of modern desktops. The result is inconveniences and lost productivity.

Read the forums and do a search before posting. You're simply repeating things that have been posted and addressed dozens of times before. I'm not going to address each point since they've been covered. Educate yourself by using the search box. :whistle:
