How to get Streaming and Codecs (Audio & Video) support in Opera 53?

Just a notice.
Opera was upgraded to v54 today (= chromium 67 based), however ubuntu still keeps its chromium at v66, along with chromium ffmpeg codecs. If anyone is on ubuntu or an ubuntu derivative, html5 support will be broken.
2 odd things I noticed though. This has to be the first time opera was upgraded to a newer major version BEFORE the chromium package was updated to that major version. And that it has been a MONTH since chromium 67 was released and ubuntu is still on chromium 66.

Just updated to Opera stable 54.0.2952.46 today. Did this after Ubuntu 16.04 upgraded to chromium-codecs-ffmpeg-ex 67.0.3396.62 and all videos seem to play well on Opera v54.
However one strange thing that remains is, on some sites videos will not play when using New Private Window. I get out of New Private Window and then those same videos now play fine. Go back into New Private Window and again those videos refuse to play, saying Flash needs to be enabled! Try to enable Flash but nothing happens. Any idea why this happens?
