Lag in vr mode

In youtube everything is fine but in other sites is like 3 frames per second while in vr but on the monitor everything looks normal. Any ideas? I know it had been working before for like 4 months ago, since then I havent watched any videos in vr.. I run Vr with my oculus rift.
