Link to Skype Client doesn't open

Hi,
I have problems opening links targeting my desktop installation of skype for business (skype client).The following link should open my desktop client of skype, but i get an opera error "unknown protocol".
https://meet.lync.com/<myus...Is it possible to configure opera accordingly? If i open the same link within MS Edge, then the client opens up properly.

I would imagine the link you click on would be a skype URL like this:
skype:live:emailnamewithoutdomain?call. If that's what you're clicking on in a page, then Opera should open up the link in whatever program is set to handle skype URLs. In Windows Default Apps/Programs, you need to set the skype protocol to open in your Skype client.If you're really clicking on an https link as you suggest, it must be something only Edge handles that you might be able to do with an extension in Opera. Don't know though.
